Kelsey McKenzie

Kelsey McKenzie is a Florida native and grew up in Gainesville. She moved to Tallahassee to attend The Florida State University where she graduated with her masters degree in Special Education. While in Tallahassee, Kelsey encountered God’s love for her and gave her life to him. In college, she attended an Every Nation Conference in NC, where she met her husband Kevin. After Kelsey’s graduation, they began their marriage and family in Boston, MA. After 10 years of serving at Aletheia Church, they relocated to Savannah, GA.

Since she was little, Kelsey has loved working with children and has desired to bring possibility and opportunity to those who may have lost hope in their current situations.  At Rise Up Church, Kelsey leads Rise Up Kids and the Rise Up Worship Team. In her everyday life, she is a full time mom and homeschools their five amazing children: Brooklyn, Quinn, Adelyn, Ezra and Devyn. She loves to sing, dance, read books and get outside! If you need a book recommendation, she has one. Kelsey is a Special Educator and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
