Skeptics Welcome
One of Jesus’ disciples (nicknamed Doubting Thomas), had doubts about Jesus. In fact, we’ve all had our questions about God. We understand that you might have some big questions and doubts about God. If you're interested in exploring answers to some of life's biggest questions, we want you to feel welcome to do that here.
When and Where
We would love for you to join us at Rise Up Church. We are just blocks away from SCAD and a short drive from SSU. We meet at Wilson Bostic Complex, 612 E Broad St at 10AM. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out by calling or texting 912-470-7530.
Common Questions
We care more about you connecting with Jesus and helping you grow in your relationship with God than you meeting some dress code. The Pastor will probably be wearing one of two outfits: a pair of J’s with jeans and a t-shirt or casual sneakers with pants and a button-up. Please feel free to wear whatever you would normally wear.
Fill in the blank with whatever you fear would make you unwelcome: a recovering addict, religious, spiritual, divorced, a single parent, gay, broke, an atheist, a skeptic, etc. Whether you grew up in church, have never been to church, consider yourself a follower of Jesus, or just have questions, we’d love for you to join us. We will see you this Sunday.
We know that taking your whole family to a new church can be challenging for a number of reasons, so thank you for checking out Rise Up Church. It is a great privilege to have the chance to meet you and your kids. We want your kids to love church. Rise Up Kids will engage your kids with the gospel of Jesus and partner with you so that we, the church and families, can raise disciples.
We are committed to having a safe and fun environment where your kids can learn about the Bible and the love of Jesus.
Rise Up Kids is a growing area of our church and we are praying for more people who love Jesus and have a passion to train up the next generation. We currently have one classroom available for kids ages 1-5.
