The Vision In The Name
Rise Up is a command from God - to rise up out of spiritual darkness, be called out of the grave like Lazarus, turn away from what is unholy, and into spiritual life being a light for Jesus. The vision is to be a Former-Multi people who were was dead to Jesus, now alive in Jesus, shining the light of Jesus, while raising disciples, empower families and revitalizing neighborhoods by the transformational power of the gospel.
When We say
- Multi - A spiritual family that reflects what heaven will be like. A diverse spiritual family who are multiethnic, multicultural, multigenerational, multi-socioeconomic.
- Former - A former sinner who is now a saint. A former(fill in the blank) who now loves Jesus and lives their life to glorify God.
The Vision In The Name
- Isiah 60:1-2 “Arise (Rise Up), shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you .For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.
- Ephesians 5:14 “for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, “Awake (Rise Up), O sleeper Rise Up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.
